The Hand and Crown Wins 2022 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for the Second Consecutive Year!

The Hand and Crown has landed its place among the top 10% of restaurants worldwide as a top favorite restaurant, and has been recognized by Tripadvisor as a 2022 Travellers’ Choice award winner!
The award celebrates businesses that have received excellent reviews from diners around the globe on Tripadvisor over the last 12 months. As challenging as the past year was, The Hand and Crown stood out by consistently delivering a positive experience to its customers.
Pub and Restaurant Manager Josh Grover said;
“We are absolutely delighted to have won this for the second year in a row which is testament to our fantastic team here at The Hand and Crown. Our ongoing commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience is always our priority and this year we have worked to innovate our offering with our fantastic new menu and outdoor dining experience. Our al fresco offer has expanded to include our undercover heated Pavilion, our Summer Garden and our Winter Dining Domes which means we have an all year around offering for our customers. This year we also introduced live Acoustic Music nights over the Summer which were a huge success. The Travellers’ Choice Awards recognize the best in hospitality and dining, according to those who matter most, our customers.”

The Hand and Crown Pub is a 16th Century Inn and it is the oldest Inn in Hertfordshire. Well known for its warm welcome and delicious home-made food.
The site of The Hand & Crown was popular with King Henry VIII and his then wife, Anne Boleyn. They were both avid falconists and the pubs logo represents the hand “Gauntlet” and Crown “Falcon Hood”.
